In individual sessions a broad variety needs for development or change can be addressed. If you are dissatisfied or highly stressed, or if you feel like having lost track of yourself, your goals and your ambitions, counselling in a safe environment can support you in sorting yourself out, getting clarity and forming your life with renewed power and happiness.
Here the relation to and the dealing with yourself and your environment is always a matter. For a positive change process the strengthening of inner resources and the enhancement of (self-)confidence, self esteem, personal engagement and sense of meaningfulness is required. That way the capacity to perceive and accept inner processes and needs, a larger stability, a positive self-relationship and a higher (self-)consciousness can be evolved.
One single meeting or just a few sessions can be sufficient to find new on-sights and solutions as part of a re-orientation or a readjustment process, or when dealing with very clearly defined issues. When a more essential support is required or to address more complex issues, sessions over a longer period are recommended.
Couples seek counselling when in current crises, in processes of making decision or separation, in situations of difficulties or escalations due to excessive demands from daily life, or when communication patterns are experienced as defective or dysfunctional.
In partnership counselling, long-settled unconductive interaction patterns can be changed and new perspectives and ideas can be explored and developed. The current complex of problems will be regarded in the context of the partner’s living circumstances, related to the couple’s shared history as well as with their experiences in their origin family, which may influence the current relationship. Then it will be essential to generate new common and satisfying future perspectives that are pointed at by the current crisis.
Couple sessions and individual sessions can be combined.
Children, Teens, Parents
Childhood and adolescence are linked to a lot of changes and quick development on physical, psychic and social levels. Problems of development, in school, with parents or with peers often cause a lot of stress to parents as well as to children.
In counselling, parents’ and children’s skills can be elaborated and strengthened. In the protected environment of the consultation room stressors can be identified and treated – often in a playing setting. That way new possibilities and skills for coping and developing can be facilitated.
The assistance is addressed to both parents and children. During counselling, the relationships between children and their parents is always respected and positively encouraged.
Coaching & Supervision
Systemic Coaching is dedicated to a solution-oriented approach to your professional issues: general conflicts at work, issues of compatibility between career and family life, or decision and readjustment processes in periods of a professional re-orientation.
Managers, artists and professionals in the sectors of sports, science, politics and economies can benefit from external coaching as a form of counselling. Personal development as well as the enhancement of social competences and leadership skills are the client´s concerns here.
As part of the process, the coaching will take into accont the interaction of personal requests and needs, professional requirements and goals and relations in the family and the social context.
For private and public corporations and for people who work in helping, social or therapeutic sectors, a supervising process can help to manage and resolve individual issues and concerns. In Case Supervision or case consultancy, the focus is on the challenges of specific work processes that will be reflected and assisted.
Supervision can be provided through one-on-one or group setting, in teams, organisations etc.
As an external Supervisor I provide counselling in the institution on-site as well as at my own practice.
Stress in daily routines and challenges due to diseases, grief, loss or other painful experiences, is an inevitable part of our life. A specific training of stress coping skills can help reduce stress and find internal calm, stability and clarity even in stressful life circumstances.
The Psychological Practice provides an elaborated relaxation program for specific stress reduction and burn-out prevention, adjusted to individual needs: De-Stress. This program includes a combined treatment offer involving the learning of different body relaxation methods (e.g. Autogenic Training, Progressive Muscle Relaxation, breathing exercises), as well as concentrative exercises, imaginative exercises as used in trauma therapy and meditative practice based on Yoga or Zen.
Additionally, a comprehensive treatment can include the acquisition of stress coping strategies, conflict management and working on problem solution strategies. Such specific stress coaching helps to preventing stress activating circumstances and provides new possibilities for growth and development.
De-Stress can be achieved in one single or in several individual sessions.
